After a wait of 13 years, Ajay Devgn is back in action with the much-awaited sequel to his 2012 blockbuster Son of Sardar. The film’s official announcement was made last year, and now fans finally have a glimpse of what’s in store — thanks to the release of the film’s first posters.

In the original Son of Sardar, Ajay Devgn portrayed the lively character of Jassi Randhawa, and the film, directed by Ashwini Dhir, was a massive hit. Its action-packed storyline, quirky characters, and memorable songs won the audience’s hearts and performed impressively at the box office.

Ajay Devgn shared the two new posters of the film on his Instagram account. In the first one, he appears cheerful, balancing confidently between two tractors, bringing back his signature charm. But the second poster tells a different tale — Ajay is shown standing atop a cannon with a tense expression, while armed men, including Vindu Dara Singh, Deepak Dobriyal, Chunky Pandey, and Sanjay Mishra, charge behind him.

With the caption, “He escaped Punjab but will he be able to escape Scotland?” Ajay hints at a major shift in the film’s setting. Unlike the first movie that revolved around Punjab, the sequel appears to take the adventure overseas, unfolding against the backdrop of scenic Scotland.

Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, Son of Sardar 2 brings a fresh twist to the story with Mrunal Thakur stepping into the female lead role, replacing Sonakshi Sinha.
