These days, Indian audiences are mesmerized by the mythological animated blockbuster Mahavatar Narsimha, which has set new records at the box office, even surpassing several Hollywood hits. But now, another big announcement has grabbed global attention — the return of one of the most loved animated franchises, Ice Age.
Disney has officially unveiled the sixth installment, titled Ice Age: Boiling Point, creating a wave of excitement among fans who have been waiting for nearly a decade.
When is Ice Age 6 Releasing?
Disney Studios recently shared the first motion poster of Ice Age: Boiling Point on Instagram, confirming its release date. Initially rumored for a 2026 release, the studio surprised fans by shifting the film directly to 5 February 2027.
The announcement sparked buzz online, with fans expressing their excitement. One wrote, “Global warming is coming next,” while another called it their “favorite franchise.” Some admitted they were expecting the film as early as December 2026, but the extra wait has only fueled the anticipation.
A Look Back at the Ice Age Journey
The Ice Age franchise began in 2002 under Blue Sky Studios and quickly became one of the most beloved animated series worldwide. Over the years, five films have been released, though none could match the groundbreaking impact of the first. The last chapter, Ice Age: Collision Course (2016), grossed around $408 million globally.
Now, after more than 23 years since the saga began, Disney is ready to reignite the prehistoric adventure with Boiling Point.
