Some titles in the Marvel Universe have left such a strong impression that fans around the world continue to eagerly await their next chapters. Moon Knight, the gripping psychological superhero series starring Oscar Isaac, is one of them. Ever since its debut on Disney+ Hotstar in 2022, the show has captured the imagination of Marvel lovers — and now, after more than three years, a fresh update on Moon Knight Season 2 has finally surfaced.
Producer Shares Latest Update on Moon Knight Season 2
In a recent conversation with Comicbook, Moon Knight executive producer Jeremy Slater spoke candidly about the status of the second season. While he didn’t confirm a green light for Season 2, his comments did offer a glimpse into the situation behind the scenes.
Slater admitted even he is surprised by Marvel Studios’ delay in bringing back the beloved character, especially considering how positively fans responded to the first season. He hinted that if Season 2 does happen, the storyline could be more intense and well-crafted than before.
“Ask Kevin Feige and Oscar Isaac,” Says Slater
When asked directly about the possibility of Moon Knight Season 2, Slater responded with a smile, “Talk to Kevin Feige for Season 2, talk to Oscar Isaac. I think the ball is in their court right now.” He further added, “It is as much Moon Knight as Oscar wants to do. Kevin is the man with the master plan, and I’m sure if it fits into his vision, he’ll make it happen.”
Slater also expressed hope that the character of Moon Knight hasn’t seen its final chapter and that fans — just like himself — are waiting eagerly for a return.
Moon Knight Still Exists in the Marvel Universe
Though a full-fledged Season 2 remains uncertain, Marvel hasn’t completely distanced itself from the Moon Knight character. Fans last saw him appear in What If…?, keeping the vigilante alive within the MCU. There are now whispers that Moon Knight could show up in future Marvel blockbusters, possibly even Avengers: Doomsday — though no official confirmation has been made.

Fans Still Hopeful Despite No Official Confirmation
Even after three years since Season 1 aired, fans continue to flood social media with questions and theories about Moon Knight’s return. While Marvel Studios has yet to make an official announcement, the passion among fans — and the optimism of producers — keeps hope alive for another thrilling chapter.
For now, Moon Knight Season 2 remains in limbo, but the excitement and curiosity surrounding it are stronger than ever.
