Indian production house Abundantia Entertainment in collaboration with Collective Media Network’s Historyverse division has produced the first of its kind AI-generated, theatrically released motion picture made in India. This film focuses on the story of Hindu god Hanuman. At the same time, the release date of this AI film titled “Chiranjeevi Hanuman – The Eternal” has been announced today.

Film critic Taran Adarsh has posted on Instagram that the release date of “Chiranjeevi Hanuman – The Eternal” has been announced. Taran wrote in his post, “The divine story of Lord Hanuman on the big screen – AI-powered film ‘Chiranjivi Hanuman’ to release on Hanuman Jayanti 2026… Historyverse of Abundantia Entertainment and Collective Media Network have joined hands for a first of its kind ‘Made-in-AI’, ‘Made-in-India’ feature film based on the eternal story of Lord Hanuman. Titled Chiranjivi Hanuman – The Eternal, the film will release in cinemas worldwide on the auspicious occasion of Hanuman Jayanti 2026.”

A team of more than 50 engineers is working on the film

The production is being helmed by a team of over 50 engineers who work closely with cultural scholars and literary experts to script an authentic narrative.
