The box office saw a clash of three films on July 11—Rajkummar Rao’s Maalik, Vikrant Massey’s Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyaan, and the Hollywood biggie Superman. While the two Bollywood releases managed to draw some audience attention, it was DC’s Superman that truly stole the show.
Fans across India flocked to theatres to witness David Corenswet’s debut as the iconic superhero, under the direction of James Gunn. As per Sacnilk’s latest box office data, Superman outshined the competition by a huge margin on day one.
