There’s growing concern across Bollywood and among millions of fans for veteran actor Dharmendra, who is reportedly in critical condition at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital. The 89-year-old legend, lovingly known as Indian cinema’s “He-Man”, is said to be on a ventilator, leaving the industry and admirers deeply worried.

This isn’t the first time Dharmendra has faced health challenges. Earlier this year, he was hospitalized for surgery but made a strong recovery, assuring fans of his resilience.

Dharmendra’s Past Surgery

Around seven months ago, Dharmendra underwent eye graft surgery. When he appeared outside the hospital post-operation, fans were relieved to see his smiling face. Addressing his well-wishers, he had said,

“I still have a lot of strength. I still have a lot of life. My love to the audience. I’m very strong.”

His words of courage had gone viral, with fans calling him a true “real-life hero” and “evergreen legend.”

The Legend’s Upcoming Film

Despite his age, Dharmendra continues to stay active in cinema. After winning hearts in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani, he is set to return to the big screen in Dinesh Vijan’s upcoming film “Ikkis”, where he will share the screen with Agastya Nanda. The film is slated for release on December 25, 2025.

As prayers pour in from all corners of the country, fans are hoping for another display of Dharmendra’s unmatched strength — the same spirit that has made him Bollywood’s immortal He-Man.
