Ranveer Singh’s latest blockbuster Dhurandhar is unstoppable at the box office and has emerged as one of the biggest sensations in recent times. With a massive runtime of three and a half hours, the film is pulling huge crowds to theatres and minting money at an extraordinary pace. The craze is so intense that the makers are witnessing record-breaking profits, while the film continues to dominate the global box office charts.
Released on December 5, Dhurandhar has been making waves worldwide. Despite facing bans in a few countries, its earnings remain largely unaffected. Each passing day, the film is setting new benchmarks, even surpassing records held by some of the biggest blockbusters of the past few years.
Dhurandhar Challenges Shah Rukh Khan’s Box Office Reign
The film that Dhurandhar has now overtaken is none other than Shah Rukh Khan’s blockbuster Jawan. Directed by Atlee, Jawan had rewritten box office history by becoming the fastest Bollywood film to enter the ₹500 crore club. The film’s phenomenal success even earned Shah Rukh Khan a National Award, cementing its legacy.
However, Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar has now stormed past Jawan, snatching away its long-held record and marking a new era at the box office.
Historic Milestone Achieved by Dhurandhar
According to Sacnilk, Dhurandhar has collected an astonishing ₹516 crore at the Indian box office in just 16 days. With this feat, it has become the fastest Bollywood film ever to cross the ₹500 crore mark domestically, pushing Jawan off the top spot.
For comparison, Jawan had collected ₹505.95 crore in 18 days, while Stree 2 entered the ₹500 crore club in 22 days with earnings of ₹503.25 crore. Dhurandhar surpassed both with ease, proving its massive appeal among audiences.

One Record Still Out of Reach
Despite its phenomenal run, Dhurandhar is yet to break one major record. The fastest Indian film to cross ₹500 crore domestically remains Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2, which achieved ₹552 crore in just 11 days. While Dhurandhar has conquered Bollywood records, Pushpa 2 continues to reign supreme across Indian cinema. With its unstoppable momentum, all eyes are now on how far Dhurandhar will go and which records it will shatter next.
