Fans have been eagerly waiting for Sanjay Dutt’s upcoming film Aakhri Sawal. Recently, it was officially announced that the trailer would be released on April 30, creating huge excitement among movie lovers. Earlier, the makers had also dropped a teaser on Hanuman Jayanti, giving audiences a powerful glimpse into the history of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), the world’s largest voluntary organization. However, fans will now need to wait a little longer, as the trailer release has reportedly been postponed.
Trailer Release Put on Hold
According to reports, the trailer of Aakhri Sawal will no longer arrive on April 30 as planned. The delay is said to be due to pending clearance from the Censor Board. Sources claim that the board has asked the makers to make a few changes before approval can be granted. As of now, no fresh release date for the trailer has been announced.
When Will Aakhri Sawal Hit Theatres?
The film is directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Abhijit Mohan Warang. It is presented by Nikhil Nanda and jointly produced by Nikhil Nanda and Sanjay Dutt. Co-producers include Puneet Nanda, Dr. Deepak Singh, Gaurav Dubey, and Ujjwal Anand. The story, screenplay, and dialogues have been written by Utkarsh Naithani. Aakhri Sawal is currently scheduled to release in cinemas on May 8, 2026, in both Hindi and Telugu languages.

Meanwhile, Sanjay Dutt has also created buzz by announcing Khalnayak 2, the sequel to his iconic 1993 blockbuster Khalnayak. During the launch event in Mumbai, the actor shared that the idea for the sequel first came to him while he was in prison.
