
Prime Video has officially announced the release date of its much-awaited original drama series, Gram Chikitsalaya. Produced under the banner of TVF (The Viral Fever), the series will premiere exclusively on May 9. Created by Deepak Kumar Mishra, with the story penned by Vaibhav Suman and Shreya Srivastava, and directed by Rahul Pandey, Gram Chikitsalaya promises a rich blend of humor and heartfelt storytelling.
What’s the Story Behind Gram Chikitsalaya?
The five-part series follows the inspiring journey of Dr. Prabhat, an urban doctor tasked with reviving a nearly defunct public health center in a remote village. Facing the hurdles of a bureaucratic system, the skepticism of locals, and the unique challenges of rural life, Dr. Prabhat’s story unfolds with both humor and sincerity.
In the lead roles, Amol Parashar and Vinay Pathak deliver powerful performances, joined by a talented ensemble cast including Akanksha Ranjan Kapoor, Anandeshwar Dwivedi, Akash Makhija, and Garima Vikrant Singh.
Streaming from May 9, the series will be available to audiences in India and over 240 countries and territories worldwide on Prime Video.
