Ajay Devgn, Vaani Kapoor, and Ritesh Deshmukh’s crime thriller Raid 2 is wreaking havoc at the box office with unstoppable momentum. The film, which kicked off its theatrical run with a thunderous Rs 19 crore on Day 1, continues to attract audiences in large numbers—even on weekdays.
While box office numbers for most films tend to dip during working days, Raid 2 is breaking the norm. After relatively moderate collections on Friday and Saturday, the film roared back on Sunday with an impressive Rs 11 crore collection. And now, early reports of Monday’s box office performance have surprised everyone yet again.
Monday Madness: Raid 2 Maintains Strong Hold
In his gripping return as Income Tax Officer Amay Patnaik, Ajay Devgn leads his 75th raid, dismantling empires of black money and corruption. Adding to the drama, Ritesh Deshmukh delivers a menacing performance as the antagonist, marking his return to a negative role after Ek Villain. Their intense on-screen rivalry, coupled with the film’s gritty storyline, has captivated audiences.
According to early estimates by Sakanlik.com, Raid 2 collected Rs 3.17 crore on Monday alone. These are provisional numbers, and the final tally could see slight adjustments by morning—but the consistent turnout, even on weekdays, is a clear win for the makers.

Box Office Tsunami: Raid 2 Dominates Domestic Market
In just 12 days, Raid 2 has reshaped the box office landscape. The film has already dethroned Ajay Devgn’s own Kesari 2 and Jaat, establishing itself as his highest domestic grosser in recent times with a total Indian collection of Rs 123.92 crore.
Made on a modest budget of Rs 48 crore, the film recovered its cost within the opening weekend itself and has now turned into a major profit-spinner. Globally, Raid 2 has raked in Rs 160 crore so far, although it still trails Kesari 2 slightly in overseas markets.
With strong word of mouth, gripping performances, and a powerful narrative, Raid 2 is not just a movie—it’s a movement at the box office.
