A decade after winning hearts across borders, Bajrangi Bhaijaan is all set to return with its much-awaited sequel. The 2015 blockbuster, hailed as one of Salman Khan’s most emotional and powerful performances, is now officially in the sequel lane—bringing back the magic of love, humanity, and connection.

The film’s writer, V. Vijayendra Prasad, recently confirmed the update fans have been waiting for. In a conversation with PTI, he revealed that Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2 is indeed happening and shared exciting details about the storyline. “I met Salman and narrated a line to him. He liked it. Now let’s see when it happens,” said Prasad, teasing fans with hope.

One of the biggest revelations is about Munni, the silent Pakistani girl from the first film. This time, Munni will speak. Vijayendra Prasad confirmed, “Yes, it is coming. Kabir Khan is writing it and the first draft is also ready. By the time it is ready, Munni will start speaking.”

The film will once again be helmed by Kabir Khan, with high expectations from fans who still cherish the original’s heart-touching narrative and brilliant performances.

With Salman Khan’s recent films like Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan and Sikandar failing to strike gold at the box office, Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2 might just be the comeback he needs to reclaim his box office glory.
