The teaser of Akshay Kumar’s much-awaited comedy film Housefull 5 has finally dropped, giving fans a sneak peek into the laughter riot that awaits. The one-minute teaser, packed with glimpses of the mega ensemble cast, promises a rollercoaster of entertainment.

Reuniting familiar faces and introducing fresh ones, the film stars Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Ritesh Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, and Nargis Fakhri. The comedy gets bigger with the inclusion of legends like Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Nana Patekar, along with Chitrangada Singh, Fardeen Khan, Chunky Pandey, Johnny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, Dino Morea, Ranjit, Soundarya Sharma, Nikitin Dheer, and Akashdeep Sabir. However, the twist this time is the unexpected arrival of a killer—making this installment a “killer comedy.”

Global icon Priyanka Chopra showed her excitement by sharing the teaser on her Instagram Stories on April 30. In her message to director Tarun Mansukhani and producer Sajid Nadiadwala, she wrote, “Congratulations Truuun. This looks so much fun,” adding her stamp of approval to the upcoming entertainer.

The teaser release also marked a special occasion—15 years since the first Housefull film hit the screens. Sharing the milestone, Nadiadwala Grandson wrote on Instagram, “15 years ago today… the madness began! India’s biggest franchise is back with the 5th installment and this time it’s not just a comedy… but a killer comedy! Presenting the teaser of #Housefull5.”

Housefull 5 is set to hit theatres on June 6, 2025, promising laughter, madness, and a thrilling twist like never before.

Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra is set to return to Indian cinema after nearly six years since The Sky Is Pink. She’s gearing up for her comeback with SSMB 29, directed by the acclaimed S.S. Rajamouli. The film also stars Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran and is scheduled for a summer 2027 release.
