 
									Punjabi music lovers are in shock after popular singer Rajvir Jawanda met with a serious road accident in Himachal Pradesh. The 35-year-old artist suffered severe head and spinal injuries and even a heart attack, according to doctors at the Civil Hospital where he was rushed immediately after the mishap. His condition has left fans and fellow singers deeply concerned.
Even the Chief Minister of Punjab shared an update on his health, urging people to pray for Jawanda’s recovery.
Diljit’s Emotional Appeal in Hong Kong
During his recent concert in Hong Kong, superstar Diljit Dosanjh stopped his performance midway to inform the audience about Jawanda’s critical condition. With folded hands, he requested everyone present to pray for the singer.
“We have a very dear brother, a very talented singer—Rajvir Jawanda. He had a motorcycle accident. Please pray for him. Prayers are very powerful. May he recover soon and return to us,” Diljit told the crowd with visible emotion.
He went on to praise Jawanda’s simplicity and talent, saying:
“His performances are always so beautiful. I don’t think he has ever been part of any controversy. He loves us, and we love him. When you pray from your heart, God listens.”
Earlier, Diljit had also expressed his concern for Jawanda through social media.
Music Fraternity Unites in Prayers
Other prominent Punjabi singers like Kanwar Grewal, Gurdas Mann, and Babbu Mann have also appealed to fans to pray for Jawanda’s recovery. Grewal, who visited the hospital, confirmed that doctors were doing everything possible and urged people not to spread rumors about the singer’s condition.

How the Accident Happened
Police revealed that Jawanda’s accident occurred in Baddi, Solan district (Himachal Pradesh) on Saturday while he was riding to Shimla. He reportedly lost control of his motorcycle, leading to the tragic mishap.
Hailing from Pona village, Jagraon (Ludhiana), Rajvir Jawanda rose to fame with his hit track Kalli Jawande Di. Over the years, he has given fans memorable songs like Tu Dis Penda, Khush Rah Kar, Sardar, Surname, Aafreen, Landlord, Down to Earth, and Kangni. He also showcased his acting talent in the 2018 Punjabi war film Subedar Joginder Singh alongside Gippy Grewal.
