Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar, known for releasing 5–6 films every year, is once again ready to entertain fans with his much-awaited film Jolly LLB 3. Starring Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi together, the film had generated good buzz after its trailer launch. Fans were eager to see the duo’s on-screen chemistry, but sadly, the excitement hasn’t translated into advance booking numbers.
The film releases tomorrow, yet the early signs suggest a slow start at the box office.
Advance Booking Numbers Fall Short
Despite high expectations, Jolly LLB 3 has managed to collect only ₹3.91 crores from advance bookings, including blocked seats, as per Sacnilk reports. With 7205 shows scheduled, merely 66,011 tickets have been sold so far.
Industry experts had earlier predicted an opening of ₹13–15 crores on Day 1, but now trade analysts believe the film may struggle to cross even ₹7–8 crores on release day.
Star-Cast & Expectations
Apart from Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi, the film also stars Amrita Rao and Saurabh Shukla, adding more depth to the courtroom drama. Directed by Subhash Kapoor, the movie was expected to make a strong impact, especially with the popularity of the franchise.
Though one day still remains before release, and the numbers may slightly improve, the poor advance booking has cast a shadow on Jolly LLB 3’s opening. To make a mark at the box office, the film will now have to rely heavily on word-of-mouth and weekend growth.
