The duo has previously worked together in Aakrosh, and this time, Pankaj will be seen in a full-fledged comic role. Speaking about the film, National Award-winning director Priyadarshan revealed that the untitled project will feature two more prominent actors alongside Pankaj. He described the film as a situational comedy in the vein of cult classics like Hungama and Hera Pheri. Priyadarshan also shared that he is currently working on the script and will finalize the remaining cast once the story is complete.

Priyadarshan has recently wrapped up shooting for Haivan, starring Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan. He has also completed work on the supernatural thriller Bhoot Bangla. Once these films are released, the director plans to begin shooting for this new comedy project sometime next year.
