The much-awaited horror-comedy “Thamma” is gearing up to set the box office on fire this Diwali. Hitting theaters on October 21st, the film has already created massive buzz across India. Produced under Maddock Films, known for its superhit horror-comedies like Stree, Munjya, and Bhediya, Thamma promises to deliver another unforgettable blend of fear and laughter.
“Thamma” Trailer Raises the Bar
Ever since the trailer of Thamma dropped, fans haven’t stopped talking about it. The perfect mix of spine-chilling horror and witty humor has audiences eagerly waiting to experience the thrill on the big screen.

Advance Bookings Off to a Blockbuster Start
The craze for Thamma is sky-high. Advance bookings opened recently, and the response has been phenomenal. According to trade reports, the film has secured 10,351 shows across India, selling over 57,000 tickets already. Among major cities, Delhi is leading the pack, contributing more than ₹1 crore in advance collections alone.
Early Trade Figures Look Promising
As per Sacnilk’s early trade data, Thamma has already earned a whopping ₹5.03 crore (including blocked seats) just two days before its release. Industry insiders predict that this figure could double or even triple by opening day — setting the stage for one of the biggest openings of the season.
Diwali Clash at the Box Office
Thamma will face tough competition from “Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat”, a romantic drama starring Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa, which is also releasing on October 21st. While Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat has crossed ₹1 crore in advance bookings, Thamma is clearly leading the race — and all eyes are on who will emerge victorious this festive weekend.
