While Kiara Advani was initially cast as the female lead, she stepped away due to her pregnancy. Kriti Sanon has now stepped in to play the female lead, adding a fresh dynamic to the film.

Meanwhile, the hunt for the main antagonist seems to be nearing an end. After Vikrant Massey’s exit, reports suggest that Tamil star Arjun Das is in advanced talks to play the villain in Don 3.

Arjun Das, best known for his impactful negative roles in blockbuster Tamil films like Master, Kaithi, Vikram, Good Bad Ugly, and the upcoming They Call Him OG, is reportedly being considered for his big Bollywood debut. Known for his intense screen presence and powerful voice, Arjun has already expressed interest in stepping into this high-profile project.

If everything falls into place, Arjun Das will go head-to-head with Ranveer Singh in Farhan Akhtar’s directorial, marking a major crossover moment for South cinema in Bollywood.

When Will Don 3 Begin Shooting?

As per reports, Don 3 is expected to go on floors in 2026. Before filming begins, Ranveer Singh will reportedly undergo a dedicated workshop to prepare for his role.

Meanwhile, Arjun Das continues to build his filmography in Tamil cinema. He will soon be seen in OG, alongside Pawan Kalyan and Emraan Hashmi. Since making his debut with Perumal in 2012, Arjun has steadily climbed the ladder of stardom, and Don 3 could very well be his breakout into Bollywood.
